" Dawn is coming ,"  said the Fairy standing on the ledge  of the moss covered stone of which he  could see the panaramic view of their valley.  " We must hurry"  The fairies gathered and went into the forest and away from their enchanted dwelling, to do their  task beforethe humans came.  Darting about on wings of etherial magic, one of the  smaller fairies came upon a bundle laying near a brook. upon an investagation in whic h she carefully unwrapped the soft rose colored blanket in which it was wrapped, she discovered it was a baby, a Human baby.  "Oh," she exclamed,  I must find the others and tell them, something must be done".
Off she flew to find  Una, the Fairy Queen, for she would know what to do.  Everyone was very excitied,  nothing like this had happened in this part of the forest in  over  a thousand years!"  We do not envolve ourselves in the lives of humans" Said the Queen
" for they must learn to choose their own fates. "
" In this case, however, we can bend the rule."  We have been waiting for this one, "It has been fortold by the old-ones for millienum. The others wondered what she ment, and softly murmered among themselves,
The forest was aglow with the light of their littel bodies, and the colors!  What unemaginable beauty.
The Queen gently unwrapped in infant in held her high so that all could see. "Look, she said, see the  the birthmark on her little shoulder? and look at her eyes, green/gold , as in the golding of the leaves in the fall". This is  Crya, The flame of Truth and love. " She has come to unite the tribes of man, and we must help her. "
She will have much to do on her journey, and must learn all she can. "  The home of the kindly silversmith and his wife, will be a good start for our little one, they have been wishing for a child for many years. "
